Trip Itinerary:
Sightseeing: Glolestan Palace , Iran National Museum and Tehran's Bazaar
Arrival at IKA International airport, we will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. You will have time to rest and relax before our morning tour of Tehran begins. To avoid heavy traffic, taking the subway is the best way to visit Tehran. We take the subway and charter taxis so that we make most of the day and visit as many sites as possible. As a result, we will have a much better chance to get more acquainted with Iranian people. We leave the hotel at 9:30 for a trip to the Iran National Museum which ,here we will get a chance to see a variety of Persian Civilizations and cultures during different ages and become familiar with Iranian history. Then we pay a visit to Golestan Palace. Golestan Palace is a masterpiece of the Qajar era, embodying the successful integration of earlier Persian crafts and architecture with Western influences. The walled Palace, one of the oldest groups of buildings in Teheran, became the seat of government of the Qajar family, which came into power in 1779 and made Teheran the capital of the country. Built around a garden featuring pools as well as planted areas, the Palace’s most characteristic features and rich ornaments date from the 19th century. It became a centre of Qajari arts and architecture of which it is an outstanding example and has remained a source of inspiration for Iranian artists and architects to this day. It represents a new style incorporating traditional Persian arts and crafts and elements of 18th century architecture and technology. Then We will visit one of the biggest Bazaars of Iran in Tehran and enjoy the atmosphere of this amazing bazaar. Overnight in Tehran
Day 02: Qom
Sightseeing : Excursion in the city
The province of Qom is located along the western part of the desert, and a section of the Kavir (Desert) National Park is within the limits of this province.This characteristic has created a special background in respect to the said vicinity and is important from the aspect of tourism. Climatically, the desert region can be said to be a pleasant area for about six months in the year.The desert sky at nights can be an unforgettable sight, as well as the mysterious mirages, mounds of earth, black and white sands, crusts of salt and wonderful landscapes all merge to form a glorious panorama. undefined In addition to this, there are historical and archaeological monuments such as caravansaries, palaces or castles, water reservoirs, subterranean canals (qanats) and pilgrimage sites that indicate the presence of human life from the past in the desert area.A part of the northern and eastern limits of the province lie within the desert sector, running in a northwest to southeast direction. Its deepest part being in the latter, known as the Sea of Salt.We drive to Qom and in the afternoon visit the city. Overnight in Qom
Sightseeing : Tabatabai and Boroojerdi Houses and Agha bozorg Mosque
We Start cycling from Qom to Kashan in the morning. Kashan is one of favorite tourist destinations in Iran. It attracts a large number of tourists each year, affording them unforgettable moments. The city hosts many events but you should know that Kashan has a 7000 - year history.We will visit Tabatabai and Boroojerdi Houses and Agha bozorg Mosque. Overnight in Kashan
Day 04 : Abouzeidabad and Matin Abad: (2nd day cycling)
Sightseeing :Fin Garden and Dashte Kavir
Visiting traditional bath and Fin garden (UNESSCO site) and head to Dashte- Kavir with bicycle. Passing Abouzidabad desert village and visit the caravanserai. Continue cycling towards Matin Abad. Overnigh stay at Matin Abad in an Eco camp
Sightseeing : Abyaneh Village
Early morning walk in the desert and continue cycling toward the historical village of Abyaneh. Meet the local residents with special dress and explore the village. Overnight stay in Abyaneh
Sightseeing : Excursion in the city and Visiting Sio Se Pol
Start cycling early morning to Isfahan. Passing Natanz on the road. Mid-way drive to Isfahan. We would visit Sio Se Pol Bridge and walking in the city. Overnight stay in Isfahan
Sightseeing :Imam Mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, Bazaar and Vank Cathedral Church
As Islamic World's Cultural Capital, and being home to many historical attractions, Isfahan receives annually a large number of domestic and incoming tourists especially during the New-Year festival Known as Nowruz. Isfahan has many historical monuments some of which are included in UNECO's world heritage list and we will show you step by step .Today is Non-cycling day. At first you will visit Imam Mosque and the Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque then to the north the expansive bazaar where we can see artisans crafting metal work you will visit Armenian Vank cathedral church and enjoy it. Sightseeing :Qehi Village , Mosque and Underground Reservoir Water
Cycling towards the desert of Varzaneh. En route a stop on spectacular historical village of Qehi and visiting the old houses, mosque and underground reservoir water. Continue Bicycling to Varzaneh town. Overnight in Varzaneh
Sightseeing : Meybod Historical Town
Meybod is a city in Yazd province. This city has a few thousand years of history. This city is considered to be the second urban and commercial center of Yazd province and due to its valuable historical structure, most of the city has been registered on the list of Iran’s historical monuments.We would have short sightseeing in the desert and start cycling towards Yazd city. En route visit Meybod historical town.Then we drive to Yazd. Overnight in Yazd
Sightseeing : Amir Chakhmagh , Zoroastrian Fire Temple and Museum of Water
Yazd city, the second Mud-Brick city in the world remaining from ancient times. The first Iranian city that registered in World Heritage.The city has acquired many titles throughout centuries: the City of World's Wind-Catchers, The City of Bicycles, The City of Sweets, The City of Qanats, and The city of Fire and Sun. Our tour goes on by visiting the historical districts of the city including Amir Chakhmagh Square, Zoroastrian's Fire Temple, and The Museum of Water. A touch of local life will be an enticing experience.Late afternoon we drive to Taft town. Overnight stay at a local house
Day 11: Abarkuh (7th day cycling)
Sightseeing : Villages and Landscape
Full day cycling through the mountain road. Crossing a couple of interesting villages and spectacular landscape. Overnight stay at a local house
Day 12: Eghlid (8th day cycling)
Sightseeing : The beautiful Natures of Eghlid
Continue cycling toward Nomadic areas of Zagros mountains and enjoying the landscapes. Overnight stay at a local house
Sightseeing : Tomb of Cyrus the Great
Walking around Eqlid village and continue cycling from Eqlid toward Pasargadae, visiting the tomb of Cyrus the Great then full day cycling through the mountain road. Overnight stay at a traditional guest house.
Sightseeing : Persepolis and Necropolis (Naghsh e Rostam )
In the morning we drive to shiraz we will visit Persepolis and Necropolis. Persepolis was the capital of the Achaemenid Empire. It was built on an immense half-artificial, half-natural terrace, where the king of kings created an impressive palace complex inspired by Mesopotamian models. The importance and quality of the monumental ruins make it a unique archaeological site. It seems that Darius planned this impressive complex of palaces not only as the seat of government but also, and primarily, as a show place and a spectacular centre for the receptions and festivals of the Achaemenid kings and their empire such as Nowroz (New Year, March 21st).The next is Necropolis(Naghsh e- Rostam). Opposite Rahmat mountain, ten minutes drive to the north, proudly stands the Necropolis, the magnificent burial place of Achaemenid kings. The site also provides seven bas-reliefs dating back to Elamite and Sassanid period. Stay overnight in Shiraz
