Iran is not a part of the international bank system, and you won’t be able to use your credit card at all: Your ATMs do not recognize the international credit cards, and you won’t be able to use your card to go shopping or pay for your meals. So, you’ll need to bring as much money as you think you might need, in cash. You can be pretty sure that it would be safe to have cash on you, though. Iran is a very safe country. Nevertheless, you do need to have an estimate of how much your travel will cost you so you can come prepared, but we recommend again that ask us and order that we allocate ATM Card for you and you use Irainian ATM Card.
